COMOS Data Migration
Structured. Secure. Loss-free.
The migration of plant data to COMOS requires technical know-how, a well thought-out strategy and precise implementation. A.Fasselt Engineering offers comprehensive services for your COMOS data migration - from the analysis of existing systems to the turnkey transfer to a productive COMOS environment.
The focus is on your legacy systems, their data structure, completeness and quality, which are thoroughly checked before the migration. Whether in-house developed tools, Excel lists, Access databases or CAE systems such as EPLAN or AutoCAD - we convert and transfer the data to your target COMOS model in a secure and structure-preserving manner.
The goal: a smooth migration without data loss, with maximum transparency and minimum system downtime.
With many years of COMOS experience and specially developed tools for migrating legacy data to COMOS, we stand for methodical excellence and technical precision - regardless of your source system or industry focus.
Our services and solutions:
- System analysis and data mapping: To begin with, your source data is recorded in a structured manner and compared with the COMOS target model. This results in a precise migration plan including possible optimization potential.
- Conversion and data preparation: Raw data from different sources is cleansed, harmonized and converted. This also includes the conversion of non-structured information (e.g. from PDF plans) into usable COMOS formats.
- Development of individual interfaces: Specially developed import tools or direct COMOS interfaces (e.g. via API, XML or C#) are used to make data transfer efficient and reproducible - even for complex use cases.
- Validation and test migration: Structured test runs are carried out before the final import. The migrated data is compared with your source system to ensure consistency and completeness.
- Live migration and commissioning: The actual migration takes place at the defined time. Optionally, we can also take over the introduction, training and support of users in your new COMOS system.
